WELL CHILD VISITS
After your baby is discharged from the hospital , please call us to schedule an initial newborn visit. In the initial newborn period, visits to the pediatrician are more frequent to monitor baby’s growth, -including weight, height and head circumference-, feeding , sleeping and other functions of rapid newborn growth.
These visits are -Newborn, 2 week, 1mon, 2 mon, 4 mon, 6mon, 9 month and 1 year.
After the first year, the pediatrician will see your baby at 15 mon, 18mon, 24mon and 30mon to closely monitor the appropriate physical and developmental milestones.
When your child turns 3 yr of age, the physical appointments will happen yearly .
Yearly physicals for children are an essential part of maintaining their overall health and well-being. These check-ups are designed to monitor your child’s growth, development, and to identify any potential health issues early. Common concerns that may prompt a need for a yearly physical include unexplained weight changes, changes in eating or sleeping habits, or recurrent illnesses.
